Volunteer Highlight
Emily Trogdon is the public relations director at Momentum Marketing where she leads communication strategy, social responsibility, and creative brand engagement for all clients in the agency. In her nine years of experience, she has worked with clients in a multitude of industries, including automotive, luxury retail, nonprofit, hospitality, real estate, banking, outdoor, healthcare and more.
Before beginning her career, she studied public relations and sociology at Francis Marion University and College of Charleston, where she earned her bachelor of arts degree in communications with a concentration in PR.
With a passion for giving back, Emily volunteers her PR services for TEDxCharleston, as well as other nonprofit organizations in the Charleston community. In her spare time, she is busy in the kitchen cooking up new recipes, bouncing around Charleston listening to live music, and enjoying time with her friends and family.
