Please join AMA Charleston for our expert panel on Influencer Marketing hosted by native Chief Meteorologist, Rob Fowler on Thursday, January 17th at 4:00pm including a cocktail hour. The panel of speakers will be speaking on how they have used influencer marketing to boost their and other businesses to great success. Each expert panelist will share their diverse, individual successes and failures on using a thorough influencer marketing approach. After the panel discussion, we will host a cocktail hour with hors d’ouevres including a drink ticket with your ticket purchase.
About the MC
Rob Fowler has been Storm Team 2’s Chief Meteorologist since September 1987, and recently celebrated his 30th anniversary at News2.
Before arriving in Charleston, Rob worked at TV Stations in Savannah, Georgia, and Green Bay, Wisconsin. Rob is a member of both the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society and has been awarded the Seals of Approval from both weather organizations.
Rob earned a communications degree from Georgia Southern University and his Broadcast Meteorology Certification from Mississippi State University. He has also studied weather and Oceanography at Portland State University in Oregon. Following coverage of Hurricane Hugo, Rob was named “Meteorologist of the Year” by the National Weather Association. Rob has also been recognized as the state of South Carolina Weather Broadcaster of the Year in 1997, and won the Best Meteorologist in the Carolinas in 2000 from the Radio and Television News Directors Association.
Liz Martin left her career as a speech therapist in 2015 to start a lifestyle brand, The Charleston Weekender. She offers products that help make every day feel more like the weekend and enjoys blogging about travel, interior decor, and entertaining. She co-owns Cannonborough Collective, a brick and mortar shop in Charleston, S.C. which carries local goods and balloons!
